We host Sail Portsmouth - bringing the tall ships to our New Hampshire seacoast

Join us for Sail Portsmouth 2014: August 1st - 3rd

This year we have the 170’, 3-masted, topsail schooner Mystic, and “America’s Privateer” Lynx, a 122’ replica of a War of 1812 raider, complete with cannons. The Parade of Sail up the Piscataqua will be August 1, public tours August 2-3. Captain’s Reception Saturday night, and Lynx will be doing two hour day sails on the ocean Wednesday thru Friday.


Schedule & Fees:

Adults: $9
Families: $25
Children under 12 are free.

Friday, August 1st
Note: There are no ship tours on Friday.

4:30p: Lynx and Mystic arrive offshore.
5:00p: The Parade of Sail begins. Ships will transit up the river to the Fish Pier.
6:30p: Our welcoming ceremony for Lynx, Mystic, their Captains and crews.

Saturday, August 2nd
9:00a - 5:30p: Open for public tours and visitors.
7:00p - 10:00p: Private reception. (By invitation only)

Sunday, August 3rd
9:00a - 5:30p: Open for public tours and visitors.
4:00p: Sea Challenge youth arrive and board Mystic.
6:00p - 8:30p: BBQ for crew, volunteers, and exhibitors. (By invitation only)
6:15p: Mystic departs with Sea Challenge trainees.

Monday, August 4th
7:00a: Lynx departs.
